Takeover day: young people from Sloviansk visited the Mass Communication Department of Luhansk State Regional Administration

Takeover Day: the active members from the Platform of Initiatives “Teplytsia” Public Organization (Sloviansk) visited the Mass Communication Department of Luhansk State Regional Administration for the purpose of work practices.

Young people met with the Director of the Department Albina Kusheleva and the Head of the Public Relations Department Andrii Zaitsev.

Ms. Albina told about the main tasks of the department, about the areas in which they carry out their work, introduced young people to several advanced projects.

“I liked the openness of specialists of the Department, they answered all our questions and were interested in our experience. – Tetiana shares her experience. I learned that the department is in charge of public relations and is responsible for the press, television, radio and public relations, and implements many projects that promote the state and improve life in the country. “

Mr. Andrii spoke about his direction of work with NGOs, and noted the importance of the development of civil society in the region and conducted a tour of the Department.

Takeover day is an initiative designed to give young people the opportunity to participate in making decisions that concern them. This is a chance for young people to get to know professionals and their daily responsibilities, be involved and understand the processes that take place around them.

Takeover day is part of “YOUNG CITIZENS – Community Engagement in East Ukraine” Project, which is implemented by Terre des hommes Ukraine within the project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) “Democratic Governance in Eastern Ukraine”, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
