On the Takeover Day, professionals from various fields become mentors for children and show them how to practice their profession, involving them in their activities and advising them. 

Today, the staff of the House of Creativity became mentors for children from Petropavlivka (Shchastia district) and showed them what an extracurricular educational institution does, their daily responsibilities, group work and opportunities for children and youth.  

About 1300 students aged 4 to 25 years, united in 84 study groups, develop and implement their cognitive and creative abilities in circles, clubs, studios and creative associations, in the areas of artistic, aesthetic, humanitarian, socio-rehabilitation and physical-sports activities.  

Takeover Day is part of “YOUNG CITIZENS – Community Engagement in East Ukraine” Project, which is implemented by Terre des hommes Ukraine within the project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) “Democratic Governance in Eastern Ukraine”,  funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
